First Name:Andrew
Last Name:Heartland
Heritage: half-blood
Year: 6th
First Choice For House: Gryffindor
Second Choice For House: Ravenclaw
Looks
Eyes: bluish-grey
Hair: medium-length brown
General Appearance: Andrew is of medium height and weight. His skin, slightly tanned because of his heritage, has very few flaws, due to his young age. He has perfect lips and a lean body, suited more to running than fighting.
Dressing Style: Andrew likes sweaters in blues and greys to match his eyes.
General Character Traits
Strengths: kind, bold, outgoing, cunning, smart
Weaknesses: forgetful, blunt, egotistical, a bit lazy, spastic
Personality: Andrew is both kind and bold. He will stick his nose into other people's business, even if he gets whacked across the face for it. He can be a bit of a spaz. He has a slightly cynical sense of humor. He can be slightly forgetful.
Personal History: Andrew grew up in a small apartment in London with his parents and younger sister. His father, a wizard, worked as an Unspeakable, while his mother was a reporter for the local Muggle newspaper. When he received his letter at age 11, he was ecstatic, since his parents had left him in the dark about his magical abilities. Upon reaching Hogwarts, Andrew gained a group of close friends in his year, including Lidia Parker and Jonathan Gills. He is a Keeper on the Quiddich Team.
(Note: if the House that he is accepted into already has a Keeper, he will be a Beater. If the House that he is accepted into does not have a Quiddich Captain, I'd like to try out for that position.)
Skills: Quiddich (Keeper), piano
Strong Area of Magic: DADA, Potions, Care for Magical Creatures, Herbology
Weak Area of Magic: Transfiguration, Arithmancy, History of Magic
RP Sample: (This is my opening post for a 1x1 that I am in on another site.)
Scorpius Malfoy leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head. An arithmancy chart was laid out in front of him, but he was not listening to the teacher, who was just droning on again. He was looking out the window, where a mid-afternoon sun shone down on the October breeze. He was bored and wondered why he had bothered to take this waste-of-time class again.
Also, he was trying his hardest to ignore the classmate who had been assigned to sit to his left and back one row. Rose Weasley. And next to her, Albus Severus Potter. Two of his least favorite people in the school.
Suddenly, a figure ran by the window and he sat upright immediately. It was a man, cloaked and hooded. Another followed him. So Scorpius raised his hand. "Professor, I think that there are some Neo-Death Eaters on school property."
Neo-Death Eaters. Most thought them strange and irrational, but they themselves believed that Voldemort truly was immortal, due to a series of strange accidents following Voldemort's downfall at the hands of Harry Potter. They believed that by instigating more attacks, they would be 'doing the Dark Lord's bidding'. Draco had laughed at the idea; Scorpius thought it ridiculous. But they did cause a lot of damage.
Immediately half the class was out of their seats to look out of the window. The Professor shoved his way through the crowd and saw several more men pass by the window. So of course he sent the two most competent students in the class to alert the Headmistress. "Mr. Malfoy, take Ms. Weasley and alert Professor McGonagall of this immediately. The current password to her office is 'Weird Sisters'. Go on, take your stuff. You may need it."
Scorpius shot a glare at the Professor behind her back and shoved his book and parchment back into his bookbag. Then he went to wait outside for Weasley, who was having trouble with her bag.
